Gloria focuses on a group of magazine editors and how their lives take a dark turn when their coworker commits a work place shooting. Following the shooting, characters grapple with their trauma in various ways while the rest of the world moves on from yet another act of senseless violence.

The most important use of projections in this show was to stylize blood during the workplace shooting scene. While lighting covered the floor, projections were created to emulate blood splatter across the back wall of the set. In a later act, as characters discuss how common these shootings are becoming, projections were used to show the real headlines of gun violence across America. Finally, they were used to show to passage of time in the scene transition between the second and third act through the use of a cityscape time lapse.
