Xanadu Jr. follows Kira, a Greek muse who descends from Mount Olympus to inspire a struggling artist who is attempting to create a Roller Disco. When Kira falls in love with the artist, her jealous sisters step in and take the situation into their own hands.

The production team was very inspired by Art Deco and wanted to create a multi-tier structure that could serve as Mount Olympus while also providing levels for dynamic staging. I constructed a series of platforms at two, six, and eight foot intervals. Using corrugated roofing metal, we created light weight columns with lighting instruments installed inside. This provided both Greek architecture and exciting beams of light for the disco scenes.
